CULTURAL PROJECT ABA-CT10 IN ARGENTINA

Volunteer Project in Argentina

ABA-CT10

Description:

This volunteer project operates from Palermo but works in Barracas, a poorer area, known as Villas of Buenos Aires. As the office is located in Palermo, most of the administrative work is done from here. The project tries to improve the living conditions of vulnerable families in Buenos Aires. There are several programs which encourage them with social and human development based on education, health, work, prevision and housing.

The project develops institutional office tasks, such as: communication, marketing and fundraising, logistics, project development and administration of human resources. In this area the volunteer is assisting the institutional coordinator and also the other staff members in specific tasks and projects related to communication and fundraising, or in logistic and administration tasks.

Activities:

The volunteer will help search for funding opportunities and assist in the development and implementation of new fundraising strategies that are made for the Foundation.

You will collaborate in tasks of internal and external communication of the project. Volunteers can also help with the development of institutional material and tools, depending on the knowledge and education of the volunteer (for example, a Human Resources student can develop an action plan and HR application.)

You may also collaborate in promoting the Volunteer House of the project and implement marketing strategies.
